Kathryn rankin

I have worked in the NHS for over 21 years and specifically in Audiology for the last 16 years. I specialise in Adult Rehabilitation for those who have complex hearing needs and I am familiar with a wide range of hearing aids. I am up to date with developments in technology including assistive wireless listening devices which can really help support people who are struggling to cope in challenging listening situations. I have a specialist interest in tinnitus and hyperacusis and, alongside Claire, provide advice and management techniques which are based on individual needs.

I am registered with the RCCP, HCPC and BAA.

I have 19 years experience in the field of Audiology, undertaking many aspects of diagnostic Audiology in both adults and children and the fitting of digital hearing aids. I also have specialist training and interest in Tinnitus management, counselling and treatment. I have a caring and supportive approach to my patients and I stay up to date with emerging treatments and technology to refresh my knowledge, ensuring I am giving the best treatment based on individual requirements. 

I am RCCP and HCPC registered and am a member of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) and the BTA (British Tinnitus Association).
